During Saint’s research they discovered the world’s strongest fibre. Dyneema® is a version of Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMWPE). Saint has woven Dyneema® into its fabric to create a single layer lightweight denim which is up to 200 times longer lasting than regular denim while conforming with CE 13595 level one standards.
CE 13595-1 is the fabric standard for ‘protective clothing for professional motorcycle riders’ and provides a scientific baseline for comparison globally. Saint test their fabrics on the street and in the lab. Impact, abrasion and burst strength are all measured methodically but as the video indicates with Saint the odd (in)sanity check never goes astray!
