gear up for summer now!
Last year we reached out to Jody Wilson, GM at Mobility Assistance Dogs Trust to discuss a possible partnership with UrbanBiker.
Like so many bikers, at UrbanBiker we are crazy about dogs! We also support the Mobility Dogs vision to "enhance the lives of people living with disabilities in New Zealand communities". Mobility Dogs run some amazing programmes, such as, 'Puppies in Prison' where prisoners develop new skills and build their self-esteem while training pups to become Mobility Dogs.
As a result, and despite the challenges of Covid-19, we are delighted to announce the inaugural 'Life Changing Loyalty Ride' to take place in Wellington, October this year. Working together we plan to make this an annual motorcycle event to raise funds and awareness for Mobility Dogs, in conjunction with the Mobility Dogs national fundraising month (“Dogtober”).

We love the wairua behind our business and hope motorbike lovers out there will too. Please join us on a ride to help enrich the lives of those who would most benefit from a mobility dog’s unconditional love, loyalty and support.
Update:
The event is now well on track. However, if we go ahead under Covid-19 level 2, our group size will be restricted. We have therefore put together an online registrations system with all fees lodged directly with Mobility Dogs through an independent fundraising website called Everyday Hero. Registrations will be accepted on a 'first in first served' basis.
